  We came to the restaurant at 1:30pm ordering for a table of 4 people. It took them over an hour and a half to bring out the starters, and a further hour for the mains. Nobody once asked us how the food was. The poached egg was boiled and not poached and at the end of the meal we asked for the bill and it took over half an hour to come. The service we received was abominable. The only redeeming factor and is why I awarded 2 stars as apposed to 1 star was that the food tasted nice. Would not recommend

  Very nice place to go for a drink and some food. I got a burger which was kinda bad. The onion in the burger was cut SO BIG and still had the skin on the onion. (Not good)
  Overall we like the surrounding area and it's a nice get together place.

  Great service - free crisps on the table were a nice touch. Food was good - although my poached egg was hard and the spot roast chicken was a bit dry (but still tasty). Kids loved the chocolate bomb.

  Lovely place, right on the canal, has outdoor seating too for the sunny days! Large parking space right behind the building and a few minutes from hemel Hempstead station and the bus stop. Food was excellent and if you are hungry cam recommend the set 3 course menu! Staff was very attentive and friendly. Will surely go back soon!
